She has always been curious about the mind/body connection and has the backing of scientific research to show how stress and associated negative feelings influence physical health. Her scientific and esoteric path to healing led to her developing her own Somatic practice called BodySensing (www.bodysensing.co.za), . a simple practice that restores balance, energy, vitality and harmony to the Autonomic Nervous System, It combines Yasmin's experience of Psychophysiology with her experience of functional anatomy, physiology and the latest research on Fascia (our organ of sense)
Facilitating "self healing" through "self observation" is how BodySensing differs from most other practices and is particularly helpful for those wanting to reduce stress and the effects of stress including , poor posture, insomnia, anxiety, fear, irritability, and chronic pain associated with back pain, arthritis, fibromyalgia, migraine, tension or any pain related tension and tightness. As well as running her own practice, Yasmin runs regular Educational workshops for health professionals and movement practitioners in the UK and Southern Africa.
